Description
Telerik UI for Blazor Chart is a data visualization component which allows you to output graphical representation of your data. It is useful when you would like to utilize modern browser technologies such as SVG or Canvas for interactive data visualizations. The chart supports various numerical, categorical and axis-free types. The current demo focuses on the Scatter Line Chart.
The Blazor Scatter Line Chart is a numerical type - its X-axis is also numerical and does not require categorical items, but numerical values. The Scatter Line Chart shows data as points defined by their items' values and connected the points by lines. It supports multiple series and can be used for showing the relation between different sets of data, for example scientific (experimental) results.
The individual series are marked with different colors that can be customized through the ColorField
property of the series. You can also customize the appearance of the series markers – the Scatter Line Chart exposes options to control their size, type, rotation and visibility.
The Blazor Scatter Line Chart allows you to configure the type of the series line. By default, the Line Chart will draw a straight line between data points. You can change that to Step
or Smooth
option.
Occasionally, some values can be missing from the series data. The Blazor Scatter Line Chart lets you customize how these missing points will be handled. The MissingValues
property of the series supports three options to configure the chart behavior related to missing points – Zero
, Interpolate
and Gap
.
Besides series customization, the Blazor Chart exposes multiple nested tags that allow you configure the rest of the chart elements – Legend, Plot Area, Tooltip. Check the Chart API Reference for a full list of properties, methods and events.
The demo showcases a Blazor Scatter Line Chart that visualizes charge results based on time values. The chart uses several series to compare their values. The Y-axis represents the charge values and the X-axis shows the time.
